Dolores (Beatriz Carvajal) owns the Cabaret Lolita, a theater located in a central street in Madrid. In these times of economic crisis, the artists living in the annex to the local hotel expecting an investor to help them raise the curtain again. That silent partner is Don José Luis (Luis Varela), a man of conservative and provincial business clashes with modern and uninhibited mindset of the inhabitants of Lolita. Don José Luis reaches the city accompanied Alfredo (Carlos Santos), a shy and prudish nephew who just planted on the altar. The young will go from surprise to surprise, because he knows the world is very different from the cabaret. Although it feels out of place and intimidated by the ballet girls, Alfredo establish a special relationship with Roxy (Sara Vega), a fun and bold transvestite. Lolita reopening coincides with the arrival of Violet (Natalia Verbeke), the daughter of Dolores who left the cabaret to marry and lead a normal life. Now return after divorcing, accompanied by two small children, and Nuri Xuso, without a roof to live. To Violet Lolita is a crossing until you find a job that kept but end up staying longer than expected
