Ushio and Tora finally get to Hokkaido where they run into a girl named Hinowa, who says she is one of the rightful successors of the the Beast Spear. Meanwhile, Hakumen no Mono sends youkai called Hiyou to kill Ushio and get a hold of the spear. Ushio and Tora encounter a young man on a motorcycle.
