The story of a Danish prematurely retired chef who, like another mole, infiltrates one of the world's most brutal dictatorships and documents everything with a camera. Directed by documentary filmmaker Mads Brügger, the Mole is whirled into secret plans for oil smuggling, drugs and high-tech weapon systems. After ten years of undercover operation, the world can now see for the first time on television how the North Korean regime is actively trying to break the UN's harsh sanctions against the country. The events take off in earnest, as the Mole meets a man who offers that North Korea can produce both drugs and weapons for risk-averse investors.
